MEN & WOMEN MINISTRIES

Men

Our Men's Group is open to anyone who wishes to attend. We meet on the 1st Saturday of each month at 8am in the Fellowship Hall. Breakfast (man-sized) is at 8am, followed by an hour of study and sharing. Feel free to join us and invite a friend!

Youth (Ages 4 & up)

Our Youth Group is growing! We meet on Sundays at our Youth Center (located at 207 E Main Street) from 2pm-4pm. We have games & snacks and spend time enjoying the blessings of our children. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend if possible - come and enjoy some Arcade Classics, bumper pool, foosball, and various board games.

Women

Our Women's Ministry is open to all women; these meetings take place monthly (time to be determined) at the home of a selected host. The ladies wanted a more quiet setting to share, study, and support one another. Led by the Pastor's wife, Terri Leto, this ministry is just beginning and all are welcome to sign up and be a part of this avenue of discipleship and support.

Young Adults

Our "Young Adults" group is for anyone who is young in age or just young at heart! This ministry will meet monthly beginning in June and will explore topics related to relationships, parenting, navigating finances, and other areas which impact us during the times when our children are developing both themselves as well as their parents.

QUILTING

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

This community group meets at 1 p.m. on most Wednesdays. They put together quilts. ...all sizes of quilts. The quilts are then donated to various people and institutions. Occasionally some are sold and the funds are then donated or used for supplies.

Blessing Box

We oversee it, and the whole community uses it and fills it. Truly it is a blessing.

We've all had that "too much month at the end of the money" problem at one time or another - please - take anything you need. If you'd like to donate, below are some items that are helpful.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

COMMUNITY WORSHIP SERVICE

Need a place to fellowship and worship? Rodney Underwood & Eugene Hudgins have hosted a Community Worship Service for years at the Obion Community Center. Doors open at 6:30am for a full breakfast, followed at 7:30am for a non-denominational devotion provided by guest speakers. This occurs weekly and is a great place to keep up with community needs and to worship with other members of our community.

MUSIC & A MESSAGE

Center Church hosts a wonderful program of Music and Preaching on the 1st Saturday of each month. Worship begins at 6pm at Center Church (formerly Center UMC) Church Cemetery, Center U.M, 3900 Edgewood Rd, Newbern, TN 38059.

Note: Typically, it is the 2nd weekend in July due to the 4th of July Holiday.
